Netgear GS748TNA Review: Netgear GS748T ProSafe 48-Port Gigabit Smart Switch. Bought 2 of these switches. There are problems with network disconnects that gave me fits. It's not consistent and only seems to happen once or twice a day making troubleshooting very difficult. There are no built in diagnostics so there's no way to tell if the switch is malfunctioning. Netgear tech support was completely useless as the only thing they could do was have me reset the units to their factory settings. Their only test was to run a ping test and wait for a disconnect.
